COVID-19 Health & Safety Information
Dear Iris Orchestra Ticket Holders,
We are looking forward with great anticipation to our first concerts of the season in mid-October.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact how we can safely gather, we are adapting with new procedures to do our part to assure the safety of our patrons, artists and staff. I am writing to inform you that Iris Orchestra’s Board of Directors has initiated a very important new requirement for attendance.
In the interest of everyone’s safety, Iris Orchestra is requiring everyone who attends all Iris Orchestra performances at GPAC or Memphis Brooks Museum of Art to mask and to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19. Here are 3 ways to do that:
- To skip the line at concerts, we invite you to bring your proof of vaccination and ID to our Subscriber Ticket Pick-Up Event on September 20th from 5:00-6:30pm, outdoors at GPAC’s The Grove. Join us for an evening of music and a glass of wine. Show your proof of vaccination and ID to get on the Iris Concert Pass List.
- Drop in at the GPAC box office with your vaccination card and ID Monday – Friday between 10:00am and 4:00pm to get on the Iris Concert Pass List.
- Bring your proof of vaccination and ID with you to the concert to get on the Iris Concert Pass List.
Please note that the last day to get the Johnson & Johnson Janssen vaccine or your second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine in order to prove full vaccination at the Ticket Pickup event is September 6.
If you choose to wait until the first Iris concert on October 16 to prove full vaccination, the last date to receive either the Johnson & Johnson Janssen vaccine or second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines is October 2.
An individual must present their ID and vaccination card in person to receive clearance to attend Iris concerts, whether on the concert date itself, at the Ticket Pickup event, or at the GPAC box office.
If you do not feel comfortable with these requirements, contact the Iris Orchestra office at 901-746-9948, or email email@example.com prior to October 15 for a refund.
“Iris at the Brooks” Update
For the safety of our patrons during the prolonged pandemic, seating in the Brooks Hohenberg auditorium is currently limited to 62 masked and safely distanced guests.
To keep our patrons safe and to abide by the capacity limit of the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, “Iris at the Brooks” concert audiences will be divided between two performances: 2:00pm and 4:00pm. This will be in effect until further notice.
These concerts will still take place at the Hohenberg Auditorium at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, 1934 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38104.
